The silent auction is a fun-filled event held during the 2018 NM State Conference on Saturday, September 1, at the Marriott Albuquerque Pyramid North.

Proceeds from the silent auction will help support the 2018 New Mexico Master Gardener Conference and the vital programs that provide education to our communities and incredible volunteers, extending sustainable gardening throughout New Mexico.

The NM Master Gardener Program is looking for generous people and businesses to help make this year’s silent auction a huge success. We are seeking high quality silent auction donations that will be visible to the potentially 200+ volunteers in attendance. All individuals, businesses and organizations will be recognized for their support of the program at the silent auction on table signage and bid sheets.

County Silent Auction Gift Baskets

All counties are invited to participate and donate a basket to the silent auction. We kindly ask each local NM Master Gardener county office to create one or more garden related baskets of nonperishable item(s) valued at $50.00 or more. The items and baskets should be handmade, purchased or donated. Where possible, items that do not fit in baskets (e.g., garden tools or birdhouses) will be displayed with an easy to read description.

Basket Instructions

The following information must be provided with your donated auction item:

  • Display county name, basket theme in easy to read location.
  • List of contents for baskets with multiple items.
  • Please wrap baskets and contents in cellophane with ribbon.

Once your county, or organization, has determined which items they plan to donate, complete the short donation survey no later than Friday, Aug. 10, 2018 for planning purposes.
